Why I wrote this
I wrote this because too many good people are left with two bad choices: ignore home defense completely, or get buried under loud opinions and complicated gear lists. Most folks I hear from simply want to feel prepared without living in fear.
This book is for people who want a plan that fits real life. Aging hands, slower movement, medications, grandkids in the house, neighbors nearby, and local laws all matter when you are thinking about protection.
What I have seen is that confidence usually comes from clarity, not from buying more equipment. When people understand what belongs beside the bed, what should stay locked away, what to say afterward, and what not to do, they make calmer decisions.
My goal is to help you think through your home before anything happens. Not to make you reckless, not to frighten you, and not to pretend any tool solves everything, but to help you prepare in a responsible, steady way.
